How to reach

By bus

Nainital can enjoy excellent bus connectivity for the main sites of North India. Many tour operators run daily bus services from New Delhi to Nainital, which include options like air conditioned, sleeper and volvo bus. Boarding during the night bus is mainly a convenient route to Nainital, although some buses also run during the day.

By train

The nearest railway station is located at Kathgodam at a distance of 34 Kms at the foothills of Kumaon hills. Kathgodam Railway Station is excellent for important links in the form of Railway, Delhi, Lucknow and Howrah, which runs daily for New Delhi.
Some trains coming from Kathgodam station are Ranikhet Express, North Link, Kranti Express, Bagh Express, Dehradun Kathgodam Express and Anwat Kgm Shatabdi Express.

By Air

There is no direct flight connectivity in Nainital. The nearest airport is located in Pantnagar, which is located 65 km from Nainital. Private chartered flights are mainly for air traffic for Pant Nagar airport. No commercial flights are ready to go from here and there.
