The Rambo 2021 is a film directed by the very famous Rambo actor Sylvester Stallone. This installment in Rambo’s long and illustrious career sees Stallone returning to the role that made him famous in the first place. I know, it’s a bit of a stretch to make a movie about the leader of the Pack, but Sylvester Stallone nails it, bringing out the same intensity and ferocity in his role that made Rambo so memorable. He also adds some new wrinkles to an already well-developed character. With some strong acting andatography, Stallone has another great action movie in the can.
The movie opens up with Jake Gannen (Stallone) recovering from an apparent hit. Having been attacked by some muggers, he’s taken to an insane mental hospital run by a sadistic doctor. Jake has nowhere else to go, so he decides to begin carving his way out of the facility. But things get worse when a group of CIA agents try to rescue him. They soon discover that Jake is locked in a maze full of deadly traps, and he must find his way out before they get him.
I’m a big fan of Sylvester Stallone as an action star, and I was very happy with this movie. It’s not just the typical Rambo storyline where Jake is on some kind of mission and has to find his way out. In this movie, Stallone plays the part of a master spy, nailing the bad guys and making sure that everyone gets what they’re after.
What really makes this movie great is how he connects to the audience so well. He brings humor to what could be an otherwise serious situation, and he’s able to bring out the inner fighter in us all. He’s not one to draw in a laugh in a serious scene, which is a real attribute considering that he’s one of the most skilled fighters in the world.
One of the things that I really liked was how Stallone went about acting during the Rambo movies. This wasn’t like the old Rocky movies where he would come in off the streets and do a couple of jokes for the audience and then disappear for the rest of the film. In this movie he was living the life and had developed a reason for fighting. It made him much more likeable.
Stallone also played against his cartoon image in this movie. He didn’t go that hard to make it seem like he was in this movie for the sake of acting. He gave in some of his comedy skills and that allowed him to really sell some of the fights and sequences. It made for some great action scenes, and Stallone was at his best.
The late Robert Altman was responsible for some of the editing. He was one of the best in the business at the time. Stallone did have some help though from Billy Joel, who did most of the scoring and producing. Rambo could have used some help with his acting as well. The acting was just flat and it could have been better.
Overall Rambo isn’t going to be the greatest film ever, but it is going to be entertaining. It will offer up many memorable moments that you will always remember. I don’t think it is realistic to say that the movie is entertaining. I think it is realistic to say that it is a fun movie. That is the best way to describe it.
The action and fight scenes are some of the best in the movie. Stallone does a terrific job of fighting and winning. Stallone is more than adequate as the leader of the pack. I think Stallone was just trying to make himself into something he isn’t in this movie. I liked his attitude and his character.
The Rambo franchise is going to go on to produce future movies. I am not sure how many there will be. I am sure there will be more Rambo movies after this one. The Rambo franchise is still in heavy demand. It is the kind of movie you want to see no matter what.
I give the movie an average rating. I think it will entertain the adult crowd as well as the kid’s. It is going to keep you on the edge of your seat while you are watching it.
