The 19-year-old Pandya began his career as a leg-spinner, but he switched to fast bowling at the age of eighteen at the suggestion of his coach. He has a reputation for being a big-hitting all-rounder, and his ODI debut was an incredible milestone for him.

The emotions of the moment were palpable. Pandya’s father passed away just two months ago, and he and Krunal both shared in the grief of losing him. The BCCI tweeted a video of Krunal crying on Hardik’s shoulder, captioning the tweet “All heart, Krunal.”
